With no apologies to Queen, this is Tim's "A Capella Science" take on String Theory set to Bohemian Rhapsody. He calls it "Bohemian Gravity." He's 23. He wrote this. He sang this. He designed this.

Very seldom do you get a musically talented "pure scientist"

Thnaks for the link I enjoyed it, even if I only understood a small bit of it.

That was great! Now to watch his other videos.

What's so strange is that he's Canadian.

He must have done all this during the summer months when his brain was thawed out.

Was that before the black flies drove him crazy?

I don't remember my wife ever being Canada... or posing with a Canadian flag.

Bill is sending propaganda with that lovely photo. The rest of us Canucks call where he lives 'Winterpeg'. Of course they do have lovely summers: I went to Lake Winnipeg for a regatta last year and had a great time. And yes, no black flies even, but those mosquitos were damn near as big as sparrows, and as hungry as starlings.

Having had my fun, I have to admit that even Nova Scotia isn't seasonal enough for me. Having a real winter makes you love summer all the more .... at risk of sounding odd, it must get boring for southerners to live with seasons that are simply warm, warmer and hotter! When I lived in England for eight or nine years it was the Canadian winters that I missed most.

No, this wasn't a hijack: I was simply following the detour!

Yes, you sound odd. There's no good reason for a winter cold enough to have snow, much less feets of snow that lasts forever.

Warm, warmer & hotter are the only seasons that make sense.

I lived up north, on the shores of Lake Erie, and I'll never go back on purpose except for a short visit during the warmer months.

It makes it tough to have enough time to enjoy a car like the 7 enough to warrant building one when you are up in the frigid zone.

Nah, no reason at all. Whyever would you want to kill off all the bugs and various animals that are creepy and can kill you? </sarcasm>

I was visiting Auckland on business once and my contact there was a gardener, although he described it as being more akin to chemical warfare. They hadn't had a frost in a couple of years and the creepy-crawlies were getting pretty robust without a natural winter kill.
