Less than 6 hours later wife and I are both sick as dogs.

Spewing for the better part of 24 hours. :ack:

It's the trendy new diet that everyone is doing cause it's the only one that works so fast.

I feel for you. BTDT

Not that it will help you, but it sounds more like staph poisoning. From Wikipedia:

Common symptoms of Staphylococcus aureus food poisoning include: a rapid onset which is usually 1–8 hours, nausea, explosive vomiting for up to 24 hours, abdominal cramps/pain, headache, weakness, diarrhea and usually a subnormal body temperature. Symptoms usually start one to six hours after eating and last less than 12 hours. The duration of some cases may take two or more days to fully resolve.[6]

Salmonella has an onset period of at least 12 hours. I've talked to a couple of guys that had staph food poining. As they say, "At first you are afraid you are going to die. Then you are afraid that you are not going to die".

Thanks for the more accurate diagnosis Bill.

Sudden onset food poisoning is no fun.

Yup, a guy tried to sue a friend's restaurant last year after being admitted to hospital the next day with salmonella. That it is around 3 days officially for onset shut the guy up.
