I have yet to refer to her as such in front of her, although I am sure it will happen. Its shockingly way too appropriate of a nickname!

Whatever works for you, my version of it is "The White Woman That Feeds Me." Your way is less likely to add any bruises or contusions or broken stuff to your medical history when you tell her what it stands for...

I used to have a "TWWTFM" at one time, but after she had a couple of strokes last year, I've been doing the cooking and feeding, and she's been promoted to "SWMBO". I must be doing it right, though! She found me a MIG machine machine for Christmas and she "Greenlighted" the 'Locost' project, so now, I'm shopping for steel! :yay:

Update 4 1/2 months post surgery.
Shoulder is still at #2 on the total pain scale compared to the bike wreck. I've got to say it's a pretty close second on the long term scale. Initial pain bike wreck wins hands down.

Remember guys - use mechanical advantage instead of brute force whenever you can.

I for got the important part in my post. Went back to the bone breaker today for my last follow up post surgery.
He says my range of motion isn't where he'd like to see it. He moved my arm around and tells me I've got some scar tissue / adhesions in the joint so stop skipping the required stretches.

Other than that he said everything looks good and I'm released to do whatever I want.
Stretch and strengthen need to be higher on my priorities list.

Tommy,

I see Tai Chi in your future. It can work miracles with your shoulder. Try it out.

JD
Maybe you're thinking of chai tea. Not real high on my likes list

Tai chi or yoga in my future for sure. I'm also back to nightly walks or bike rides with Wifey Dearest. Mostly biking right now as she's having some issues with plantar facia / heel pain.

Maybe I need to pick the kayak paddle back up for a few months

Have you considered omega oils as vitamin supplements?

I've taken them with joint issues in the past - definitely a noticeable difference for me at least.
