That was a very interesting video. Thanks for posting the link.

Around here, in the prairies, we see parts for thousands of those towers either on the move or lying in fields beside the highways staged for installation. Soon they'll be everywhere, which is a nice, green option for energy, but they sure can be a hazard to small aircraft navigation as their locations are not being put onto the charts quickly enough. I was on a CASARA* night search a couple of years ago that was near a wind farm. It was a shock to see a turbine blade go past the side window of the Cessna as we thought that we were a safe distance from the farm. What we didn't know was that the wind farm had recently gotten larger but that detail hadn't yet hit either the CFS or the charts. I now stay further away from them if I'm on a low altitude night flight.

In the States, the South has the slowest winds at that altitude, so there are none here but they are popping up everywhere else.
