Looks like I'll be traveling to the East Troy, Elkhorn, Lake Geneva triangle a lot in the next few weeks.

I'm up here now until Friday if there's anyone close by

10-4 Jim

I'll see how tomorrow goes and give you a shout. If not this trip, I know I'll be back a lot while I manage this transition to a new supplier.

Hey Too..... you driving? I am about 65 miles south of there in West Chicago, IL . If you are driving anywhere near me in your travels, let's get together for some bench racing. If you and MKE JIm get together and the weather is good, I may even drive up there in the Locost.

And if you find yourself up in this area on Sunday, Sept 11th, there is a BIG car how in Palatine, IL "British Car Festival" Usually several hundred Brit cars and Bikes. (and replicas are invited too).

I genuinely HOPE I'm not here over a weekend, but never can tell at this point. It really depends on how quickly my new molder can work on tool modifications.

Looks like next week I'll have 3 days in TN, then most likely back up here week of 8/29.

I'm not driving, but I do have a rental car with unlimited miles. Maybe we could all gather somewhere around Fox Lake, IL and swap stories.

How quickly plans change. I have plane tickets and hotel reservations in TN for next week to do a supplier audit... plans changed at 4:30 pm local time today.
It turns out the owner of the problem company has figured out I'm not too bad at my job and I get along well with everyone from the operators to the staff. My counterpart on the other hand is better at paperwork, but sort of abrasive in the people department. I got a call from my boss's boss asking me to be here until we exit; starting next week.

No weekend work, and I haven't agreed to every week up here yet, but I did agree to next week.

Looking at flights online this evening. Hope I can stay with my preferred carrier. The TN trip will get postponed until the new supplier is up and running.

Well, let me know your 1st choice of plans for getting together. I'll see if I am available. Have some family stuff coming up but not sure what it entails or when. I just get told when and where to show up. Fox Lake is OK for me. Hope the weather is good whatever day we agree to.

I fly home Friday late morning. Looks like I'll probably be back for 3 or 4 weeks while we work the transition plan, then home for a couple weeks, then back to launch the new supplier

Going in at 4 am every day this week to watch 3rd shift finish and spend a few hours with the first shift crews.
