My only issue is that for its intended use, storage is lacking, assuming a passenger. I'd think a lot of people would do errands in it on the weekend and many (most) people travel as a couple. The idea's promising though.

My eyes!
Need bleach, want to un-see that.

OK, serously, another electric "Smart Car" wanna-be.
Three wheels to avoid the innovation killing Fed. automotive regs.
If that glorified golf-cart has a market I need to dust off my Tatum molds and make a three wheel version of my own.
Just need to find an around 600cc bike donor with decent torque.
Probably a twin.
For myself I would never even consider electric but if I'm selling a kit I don't suppose I really care what eventually powers it.

I've got to agree, 130 miles, really?

A fun golf cart maybe, but not a real car substitute or adjunct

I thought it was pronounced "arse", which is no great improvement.

Here's a local (to me) built electric 3 wheeler:

https://electrameccanica.com/

It's a side business for Intermeccanica, the Porsche replica people.

It never ceases to amaze me how much money people will sink into an idea that doesn't have a dog's chance in hell of succeeding. What a waste. At least come up with something that's nice to look at.

Sad to see they have their lips firmly planted on Elon Musk anti-IC engine @$$!
As proven by this statement from their site, "EVs like the SOLO offer 3-4 times the energy efficiency of fossil fuels —it’s time for gas engines to go the way of the dodo".
That gets them added to my "I hope you fail spectacularly and end up in prison" list!
Partly because it's a flat out lie, and partly because that's a declaration of war to me.

What kind of feeble wusses make a statement like this?
"Think electric cars don’t have enough power? Think again: the SOLO has a top speed of 137 mph (limited to 82 mph)".

After seeing these statements I don't care what else they build, if it's gas powered they are the worst sort of hypocrits!
The car is not as ugly as the OP, but still very mundane and uninspired.
