yup, recieved my copy today, snow's coming and the car is sitting outside (under cover), so I will have a chance to read through it. I flipped through every page of it, reading some of it, not much though. Looks to be lots of info in it. Off hand, alot of what is in rons book, but also alot that isnt.

Lots of pictures, all in color. good pictures too.

Where rons book is a good way to start building and gives lots of info to get you started, tanners is geared towards completeing it. more info on the fuel tank (for a manufactured one), brake lines, wires (yes!!!).

Anyway I'll add more when I really get into it.

Thanks for the initial review, Derf. I tried not to duplicate Ron's book too much, being more general than his. If anyone wants elaboration on something they see in there, just ask - particularly about Miata bits as I know a few things about those. I just found out about this forum so I'll be hanging around a bit now.

Amazon's been confused about the whole shipping concept but I think they're sorted out now. At least one person got two copies!

don't worry I'll be a little more harsh after i read some more, I already found a few gramatical errors. Being a human spell/gramar checker is a small part of my job so I can spot it quite easily

Then you know that they're grammatical errors, not gramatical.

Been doing some reading, I'm to about may, if you have the book, or wrote it you know what I mean..

Anyway i did find one small complaint, sort of. There are these big green sidebars with some good info, but they are everywhere, every page or 2, and some pages have 2! yeh so anyway, they contain lots of specific info, which is good, but I keep leaving the main story to read them, then have to go back and re-read the last few paragraphs that I just finished reading.

On the plus side I am amazed at the amounmt of detailed info in the book. Alot of the stuff that ron left out of here keith included, almost as it keith wrote a supplement to rons book. I honestly had never though to check some of the stuff that keith has encountered and writes about...

anyway i'll write more of a review as I read more

I have read keith's web site, and the book is on order.... I'll give it to someone to give me for christmas.
