Hey guys (and any ladies). I just found your site and I'm stoked to start reading. I've wanted to build a locost for several years now. I knew a guy who was building one on a ford forums I hung out on and after seeing some of his progress pics, I was hooked.

I've been a member of the US yahoo group for afew years too (mostly lurking).

At this point, the biggest thing holding me back is lack of a space to work. Hopefully in the next 2 years I will be able to have a garage of my own, and start building. I'm playing with the idea of getting possibly an old Ranger or S-10 so that I can modify the frame, and reuse most of the running gear. Or I may be able to scare up a Mercury Grand Marquis or two in a year or so to use as parts.

But until such a time, I have to continue dreaming and drooling over pics I find on the net.
