I can not for the life of me register. I registered all my information, but when i call it tells me the number i was given is not recognized. So i write chris an email at his non spam account and get nothing back.

I tried this last month with no positive results and i am trying again with the same problems. I have sent multiple emails with no return. WTF?

I did the same as you, started the registration but didn't know how to actually place the international call. Now when I go there it says I'm logged in and I can view pictures anyway.

It's a very valuable site. For example this thread on using tools... It's not a happy story, be forewarned. Worth the read and a little thought though.

Actually I'll post this in it's own thread...

I tried to sign up as well but I have no way to call the UK so I gave up at that point.

yea ive called with an international plan at work and also sent several emails... no reply. Someone is having the same issue with their motor as im having and id like to input to help us both out, but it seems as if they are overly protective of their forum. I ran a forum with over 500 active and 2500 semiactive members without half that.

I posted a note in the LB forum, and hope someone will take a look into the problem.

I'm sure the admin Fozzie will be along shortly and get you guys in, we had a few trolls causing a fair bit of hassle and bad feeling and posting links to [NWS PORN] sites etc, personally I didn't mind the links, in fact they saved me a bit of time :D

If you can get on, then do a member search for Fozzie and in her profile has her email, she's ace and will sort you boys and girls out I'm sure.

Thanks, off to have nosey around your site now, not been on before. Cheers Rich

Oooo my post has been approved! :D

Richard...it was worse than NSW [NWS PORN] links......it was in all its colourful glory......plus singling out some poor guys to ridicule...definitely not nice at all ....

Anyway...I am off to see if we can find a work-around for you guys....

The phone call that is required is automated, lasts just a few seconds....and the site owner assures me that it only costs a few pence.....sorry, cents to make....But it seems as though some of you say the number is obtainable? :?:

" member search for Fozzie and in her profile has her email"

Hmmmm... A British chick named "Fozzie" that likes Se7ens... Wonder if she'd be interested in a Yank named "Gonzo" that also likes Se7ens?

Image

This could be a "Locost Romance" . . .

Oh i know those problems... except i ran a sportbike forum with an average age of 23 so that was welcomed by the community, but not by the mods and admins. Spammers are a pain in the a$$.

Looks like Fozzie is on to it now... but take a look around. It seems like over here we are more in the beginning stages of our builds, but yours seem to all be done and getting further modifications. Your site has a lot of great knowledge and i love all the British humor!

Likes sevens!!!!!! Zikes Gonzo ..... I built mine to road (and race regs)... First time SVA* pass .....and that was back in 2004!

Can't see your picture.... :( but take it, that it was a 'muppets' one? My name (Fozzie) I have had since I was knee high to a grasshopper! It is a 'play' on my surname! LOL ....

Fozzie :D

*SVA (now IVA) is something we have to put our cars through if we want to use them on the roads....
VOSA (used to be Ministry of Transport) have the car for about half a day where they go through them with a fine toothed comb, bit by bit, to see if they are safe to use on the road ... there is a mega paged VOSA manual you have to comply with .... when it has passed you can then register it (number plates and V5 document), and drive it on the road .....
