Since the COVID....and my love of working on cars. I ended up rebuilding or replacing just about everything. I had hoped I could get some good laps with the car as it was. I wouldn't last the weekend. So, I took advantage of the time and took everything apart. It is nothing like it was. A new MaxxRace ECU. New Carpenter CNC race head, new Pro Shift system, New Precision Gen2 ceramic ball bearing turbo, Big brake kit, water to air intercooler, air jack system, and a Push-to-pass button. Traction control will be added shortly. The ECU has it built in. So, 4 wheel speed sensors and Boom....traction control. Coming from a FFR Cobra with 622hp. I was concerned I wouldn't like the acceleration. At 1450 pounds, without driver, and 400hp....it has all you could need. I hope Ill be able to start running it harder this year.
I still have not been able to contact the builder. Bummer! I think he would be happy at where the car is now! To get similar performance you need to get a SR8 or something similar. It's going to hurt a lot of peoples feelings!
