Wow, looking pretty cool.

Cheers,

That is so much work...my hat is off to you. Are you going to pull a mold or just build up the body on the buck?

Well I considered both options and given I'm going to race the car, I'm going to pull molds from it.
I intend to resin infuse the body.

Did you draw that up in CAD? Willing to share? If yes, PM me. I am looking at something similar, but single seater. Still going through the whole make or buy decision on the body. So far the least expensive body that someone is willing to quote me and that I would be willing to use is the Prince from Hurley Racing Products.

What did you do to build the rounded corners attaching the flat pieces of wood?

When I had the stations cut with a CNC router, it followed the drawing and cut the radii. Then I used the cedar strips and hot melt glue to bond them in. Sanded off the high spots then filled with polyfair... and now need to sand them down.

I could of drawn the corners square and backed it with block of wood and router a radius, but the edge shape changes as it goes around the fenders etc. It become more like a spline so it looks better than one continuous radius all around the car.

Hope that sort of answer your question

Hope you can save that buck once you pull the mold off of it. Finish it off nicely and an amazing piece of wall or ceiling art. ...or an ultimate video game console.

wow that's purdy! very Radical/sports racer style.

My only question - is there enough front wheel turn angle before the tires hit the inside fender?

I hope you're considering selling body panels - i'd be interested after seeing the quality you're putting into the molds.

Yes there is enough room, steering lock is not the best :(
Good eye btw.

Not sure about body panels..... the ones for my car will be Carbon, but I can make them from glass.
Doing resin infusion
