okay so i know this should be in the fuel section but i feel its better suited here.

So my home made fuel line is leaking at the fitting. I took the stock yamaha line and cut the line so i could use the stock ends. I used hi pressure auto fuel line between the fittings and used small tube clamps for the hose. Im thinking better tube clamps will fix the small drip, but what did you guys do for the fuel lines... curious to see other ideas as we dont have threaded fittings like car motors.

Does the Yamaha fuel rail have a banjo fitting on the end where the high pressure fuel line attaches?

no it is a push on, then clips type of pressure fitting on both the fuel rail and tank.

Cut off the rigid tubing on the end of the push-on yamaha connector.
Underneath is a barb fitting. Connect your regular F.I. rating fuel tubing with a hose clamp

yea thats what i have done. Took two hose clamps to keep it from a slow leak. Just wanted to see if there were any other options out there that people did

Hi Blue,
I used large brake lines with I.D. about the same as the fittings. I only used one clamp per end but on the ends of my "brake line", I lightly flared it so it was a tight fit for the Yamaha hose. I left the rigid hose on the connector as it was clampless from the factory and a solid seal.

Sorry to hear about your engine problems, I can't even guess as to why it will not run with out the starter button and only throw a temp code. :BH: A Yamaha mechanic might know why the computer does this to an engine.
