Hope this works guys. I did it on my iphone. If the pictures dont show ill try again when i get home.

My buddy at work ran into the same problem with his pulling tractors. His zx9 powered one (as well as a busa one). have narrowed car rearend in them. They both have a moddified transfer case out of a Allison Chambers (spelling?) Baler... The Balers were old and most are found on old farms and junk yards.. they allow a Chain drive motor input and drive shaft output.... they work great and are SUPER heavy duty. They have two gears .. forward and reverse(neutral in middle). These are run wide open in 2nd or 3rd gear when being pulled.... never had any issues with them... just chains and mounts I can get some pics or info for you if you want... actually here you go...

well i take back what i said. Pretty cool setup, but it is not very compact. Its a much cheaper option to a quafe with an open mind to design.

I know it seems bulky but i figured you could mount the box under the dash between tje driver and passenger. Im sure with a little enginuity someone could do a much better installation

with this the engine would be orientated the same as a chain driven car. :( I'm alittle to far along to change that but I wish I know this about 6 months ago :BH:

That looks like a great solution to me, wonder how available they are, what parasitic losses they have, and how they they would hold up to the necessary RPM's...

I have two allis chalmers balers down back, I am not even sure where to look for this gearbox. More info if you could! Inquiring minds would like to know...
What type/model baler is this found on (self powered or tractor driven)?
Thanks
Jay
