Locost work stand. I'm removing my belly pan and passenger side firewall to install a removable forward, diagonal rollbar brace. I built this stand so I can make the job easier. It's also great for rolling the car around in the barn. I clamp the car to the tubing on the stand to it wont fall off.

That looks good. I've thought about trying to get mine up on something with some casters so I can move it around a bit easier while working on it.

How do you get it up there? Couple options I can think of, but curious what you've found to work.

Engine hoist no doubt.

I've thought about something similar but more like the F1 jacks that cantilever the car up off the ground, maybe even make it pneumatically powered... They're out there but run about $1100.

A couple of sturdy, solid tire hand carts with a uni-ball instead of the flat "spatula" bottom that they come with. I made one with a 2" trailer hitch ball for moving my trailers around the property.

You can also use a hydraulic motorcycle lift if you find your balance point and have a sturdy floor in your Seven.

If only my motorcycle lift would fit under my car, that would make it much easier to jack it up. I've been thinking about building a mechanical pivot to lift it like a superbike stand that goes under the axles. Something like this.

It might even be a good idea to have one for each end of the car.

I picked up this hydraulic scissor lift build table the other day, 4`x5` top with this rotating disc incorporated into the top for turning the work about. 1 ton capacity . I want to get all the projects on wheeled build tables but I dont suppose I will find another one like this so I will be looking at the hydraulic hospital beds next week.

Very nice. Where did you pick that up? You can even use it as a lift for your Locost. How much was it?

I'm thinking about buying one of the motorcycle lifts when my build gets to the point to where I can take it off the table.
