Something to consider is using a tool like SKetchUp because there are folks here that have already made parts. Not having to make everything is a huge timesaver. I have a frame and there are also Locost and Caterham ones.
Well it took me about 60 seconds to load a full McSorley (by the book) 442E into it and I can now modify the tube sections from there. So far I'm still SUPER slow at using it compared to my normal CAD seats.
I loaded the chassis as a stp file assembly. All the tube sections are independent to replace and manipulate as desired.
I'll have to look for the previous thread and see where it went.
