Hey everyone I'm looking for a specific type ofwire crimp and thought somebody on here might have a reasonably good place to get them. The wire crimp connectors are u shaped and brass. I found them on this website but have no interest in ordering from China for such a small part.

I'm also looking for the special crimp tool. Any input on where to find this stuff would be appreciated as I haven't had much luck yet.

I have S&G Tool Aid 18930 crimpers for those type terminals. They are typically called "flag" terminals. When closed, crimper should have the profile of the crimp, like a heart shape with a flat bottom.

Check out Waytek wire. You must setup an account like a business and the shipping is high, but they have good prices and variety. They only sell quality components.

Are you using these terminals to connect two wires, or are you using them to on the ends of wires where they go into a screw and clamp type connection. I have only seen them used on the latter to prevent stray strands of wire from shorting out adjacent terminals. These types of connectors seem to have been phased out and replaced with the round crimp ferrules as they are so much easier to use. Just slip them on and crimp.

Those look like the pliers I'm looking for. I havent found any of these terminals by searching flag terminals or on waytek wire, but I will admit my internet connection has been flakey to say the least. Thank you for the reference miatav8!

WelderLee I'm using them to connect two wires. The style you posted looks nice as well.

Did some searching and they look to be called Open Crimpband splices. Found some on DigiKey

I have also found them called open barrel crimp terminals. Starting to find the style I'm looking for now.
