I'm building a Fiberfab Valkyrie and looking for a Crown Corv-8 shift tube adapter. Clarks Corvair no longer has it.

I'd also like to know other builder/owners.

Thanks

Welcome and good luck. I don't think we have any owners of builders of that kit here. We're mostly homebuilders of Lotus like things. Perhaps you can build your shifter from scratch if you know what it looks like...

You might give these guys a try.

http://aboxer.tripod.com/

They've worked up a conversion that puts a Borg-Warner t-5 in place of the Saginaw 4-spd in the Corvair transaxle. They might be able to help you out with some special linkage parts, too.

Jim -

Try manta cars.com, there are a bunch of us with Manta Mirages that use that drivetrain, including my Manta I'm also building a mid engine beetle with a Corvair trans Chevy motor drivetrain also, so I'll be building shifters for both cars soon.

Yo Cheap-
Both of the objects in the picture, while great to look at, fail the "If it's got t*ts or tires it's gonna cause trouble" test...

if you had what is in the top right of the picture then you might be able to attract what is in the lower left of the picture,

i know which i'd rather test drive.
