I saw this on Build Threads, and thought it was cool : http://rejsa.nu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=71680&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

He's using an Elise windscreen, I wonder where you would find one on this side of the Atlantic.

It's interesting that when I go to a foreign language site there is usually button at the top to translate, but I never see that button when I go to a Swedish site.

It's as if my browser is scratching it's head and going "I don't know what to do with this." Maybe it's afraid I'd push the button and then I'd know it's not that smart.

smallwheels, copy from our swedish friend's post (Tänker bygga eget och vad är bättre än att visa det här för att kanske ha möjlighet till vissa tips. ), then paste into Google Translate, GT then gives you this (Intend to build own and what's better than to show this to maybe have the opportunity for some tips.)!

If the website doesn't "declare" itself as being in another language then the Translate option doesn't automatically appear. Here's a link to the website that I "forced" through Google Translate https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=sv&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Frejsa.nu%2Fforum%2Fviewtopic.php%3Ft%3D71680&edit-text=

Also, the builder does have an English site with some more details - http://www.roxgt.se/

Hi, long time lurker from Sweden, seeing this post I felt the need to finally register.

The Mazzarini is indeed being built in Sweden, but it's actually one of two being built simultaneously. The Mazzarini is powered by an Alfa Busso V6 and the RoxGT is powered by a 350 V8.
Here's the link to the other build as well.

Oh great! There goes my Saturday night as I spend all my time reading another car thread.

Actually thanx for the link that's almost in English. I had nothing better to do any way.

This is what I mean by almost English

"Hey you, have you slept with toothbrush and rubbed on the floor your lurifax?

I go down and pigs down a little with you:-)"

Sounds a little like JD might be Swedish or have a cousin over there. :P

This just makes it fun reading as you try to figure out what they really are saying.

I almost know what he means here:

"do you have any lösninmg ready for the gear lever / gear / vire / linkage ??"

I'm sure lösninmg is a Swedish beer and they are going to celebrate once they figure out how to make the linkage work.

OK, I must be an idiot. (cue the rejoinders)

Try as I might I cannot get the page to translate after page 1. Everytime I get beyond page 1 it goes back to Swedish and when I finally get it back to Engrish it puts me back on page 1.

Are there any certified geniuses on the list that can tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Actually you're not the one doing anything wrong.

Go to http://translate.google.com and copy paste the link to the page you want to translate into the field, choose language and hey presto!
Sadly, when you change page, the link is to the original page (i.e. in swedish) and not via translated google-page, så you need to do that for every page :P

Wouldn't judge a person from just one single thing ;)

There are several really cool Projects on that forum, not necessarily Locost though... A Bentley Le Mans racer replica, Volvo 142 with a scratch built 4-rotor wankel, Ar-i-el At-om copies, Lotus Elise with an M5 V10, a few Locosts, some amazing scratch builds, and heaps of Bimmers and Porkers. As long as it's racing related it's there.
