im john a hotrod builder here with big oak garage, and a car and motorcycle builder as my hobby too. ive been reading around the forum for a while now and its about time to jump in. the employee chassis jig has gone down the waiting list and its my turn to use it. but anyway I have a 944 Porsche with a 305 chevy and its time to change, the car is a total rock box with a good powertrain so im going to put the engine straight on the transaxle and do a lotus exos 125 kind of build, on a car builders budget. I hope we get along good and all learn some new things here is some of the work that ive gotten to be a part of in my work life this is the green car at its lowest point |

Sounds right at home. You know, they used to build these things in Anniston (i.e. a kit for using the miata bits). I expect great results from folks associated with Posies. I think I recognize the car show location. Isn't it at some kind of waterfall? |

I've never met them. I've been to Gadsden many times. The cars I was talking about were kits made by CMC in Anniston. They were the first locost/lotus seven/caterham type kits to use the miata as a donor. I guess that was about 15 years ago. Jack McCornack was there for the GRM magazine buildup in Anniston around 2000 I believe. |
