A year or so ago Summitt began offering pre-paid taxes for Canadians. It proved a disappointment for me because they didn't break out the duties (for non-NAFTA products) and taxes on their invoice.
Speedway recently began offering similar service, so I gave it a try, using Canada Post delivery. If was again a bit obscure on the Speedway invoice, but I just received a statement from UPS (who seems to be Speedway's broker) telling me how much duty (if any) and tax (HST in my case) I paid on Speedway invoice number so-and-so. Much better if I need to keep a tally of taxes paid for registration day.
