I sent COLD an email a week ago about buying a nosecone and haven't heard back yet. Does anyone know if they're still open? Looks like the website was last updated in '04, but I thought people were still buying parts from them.

I bought a chassis from COLD about two years ago, and then after a while he went quiet. There was a note from someone else on the forum that Chris had decided to give it up. You might try the phone number listed on the COLD site: as I recall it was Chris' cell.

He sub-contracted his mouldings, so stuff like noses might still be available.

Gave him a call today, he's still open for business. He had just missed my email (I use Gmail, maybe it was filtered?).

Nosecone ordered, he tells me it will be shipped out pretty soon.

Good to hear he's still in business. I visited him a couple of years ago, and bought front cycle fenders and a pair of Miata seats for my Locost from him. He's a good guy, and good to deal with...

Any of you guys have an address?
Last I heard he was in Langley and in the process of moving to Abbotsford.
If you have an address I can do a drop by and see if he is still making parts.

Al

Thanks for the offer Al, but I did get a hold of Chris today. He said he is operating COLD on a "hobby level." Not exactly sure what that means, but I'm under the impression that if he has the part your looking for sitting on the shelf he'll sell it to you, if not, your out of luck. Sounds like he wants to get back into it, but life is currently taking him in another direction for now. But don't take my word for it, give him a call, he might be able to help you out.
