I shopped around for quality coilover shocks at a reasonable price and ordered these from http://www.CustomRacingParts.com I ordered both front and rear at $382 total including shipping. It took a bit long to arrive (23 Days) but I am happy with the quality. Very good looking, the correct rate for locost rears at 200 lbs and I will have the front ones in a inboard setup as suggested by the website.

I am working on the front design in Turbocad for a 350lb/inch effective rate and will post the cad files here when finished. Oh i did order a set of that Brembo Caliper Covers to, as they gave me free shipping on that combining it with the coilovers. I know it is silly but look so good!

I am building a traditional locost7 powered by a Yamaha FZR1000 motor and for the next project I plan a mid engine version with a full sportscar body. Something like the old elva sportscars circa 1964.

I'm always leery of anything that's to cheap to be true, but this seems like it might actually work. Keep us posted when you get them installed, I'm contemplating ordering a set next month

Whether or not they bolt up...you have no idea on the valving, quality of piston, or any other aspect to the damper itself.

I wouldn't trust any random spring on my car either.

I think the body on the rear shocks looks very small. You may be fine on the street with them though. Let us know how they work for you...
