I can't help either. I don't see any front or rear ends.


From the rear, I'd guess one of the Dutton Sevens but the faux front clamshell detail doesn't look familiar. I just browswed thru my "Lotus Seven & the Independents" book and didn't see anything that looks like this.

Thank you: I have long thought it might be a Dutton. I just joined the Dutton UK club, and will send them some pictures.

How do you know this, given that the shell could have virtually anything bolted in?

Andrew at Jonsteel grinded the rust and welded the BMW rear subframe.
