My wife loves the gauge cluster on a 2007 Eclipse thats at the local pull a part. is there anyway to make this work for our project????
Other than the speedo and the tach, it has a temp gauge and a fuel level gauge.

Her second choice is the gauge cluster out of a 2006 PT cruiser.......not sure if it would be more suited for use or not.

I can get these for $25.00 but of course would want to know that I can make them work before planning the dash layout.

many modern gauge clusters are 'driven' from the ECU, so the job of getting them to work with anything other than a single donor build could be exciting. Of course, if you were 'flush' you could get someone like Classic Instruments to put custom guts in them.

Thats what I though............I picked a set of gauges from a 74 Mercedes yesterday. Indicator needles are a little faded but other than that it looks great. To use it I will need to figure out how to convert my T5 to a speedo cable drive instead of the electronic pulse generator thingy, and then try to figure out the proper gear to use in the tran.

Id have to try get the proper sending unit for the fuel tank after I figure out what ohm range a Mercedes uses.
Oil pressure gauge is a mechanical unit.............not sure about the temp. gauge.

I've got a whopping $24 in the cluster so if I can't make it work it's not a major loss but I like the gauges...........hope I can figure them out.
