I haven't seen many posts in the interior section lately. I finally had a day off on a rainy Saturday. No skiing or yard work due to the rain so it was a good day to get the panels done. Dash, seats, belts, and suspension all back together as well! I had the materials assembled and more or less copied Run87k's panel fabrication - although his were quite a bit more complex with integrated caps. It looks surprisingly "finished" all of a sudden!

Nice interior panels. Off topic question but where did you get the blue power label for the kill switch. I need one as it is a legal requirement in EMod.

Sorry for the hijack... Paul, you can get them from Pegasus Racing Supply for sure and probably from Summit. Mine all came from Pegasus.

Interior looks very nice, professional. Your car looks more "finished" than some real Lotus 7s I've seen...

Nice work! It does look finished.

Looks very nice, but your doing such good work don't stop now!

Are those USB charging ports on your dash? That means my children could potentially actually go somewhere in one of these or even drive one somewhere... Who'd a thunk it?

Thanks and yes, as Gonzo said, just about anywhere that sells the switches should have the labels. Mine came off eBay and I cut it down to fit. Question for you: is an "active" cut off switch required in emod? Mine is more correctly a master battery disconnect switch on the negative side. My first emod event is in 3 weeks...

Thanks, I'm certainly nowhere close to being actually finished. Is that really even a thing? And yes, there is a dual USB outlet in one side and 12v acc. in the other. I'm really not that "connected" but do plan to commute to work occasionally and rely on my radar detector and Escort Live. Hmm, I guess I am connected...

The cutoff switch is supposed to be a "kill" switch for everything except the fire system, if you got one. In other words, the output from the alternator and the positive battery lead need to be switched by the master cut-off so that when you flip it to the "Off" position, the car shuts down. If your switch only disconnects the battery, then the engine will continue to run (so will the fuel pump). That won't fly, per the rules.

I have to admit, however, I've never had my cutoff checked at an autocross. Track events, club races and hill climbs they definitely do. In the long run, you're gonna want to change that switch, or actually the wiring of that switch. Might get by "as is" at an autocross or two...

Thanks for the info and link! After I had finished wiring it on the negative side I realized I had goofed for competition purposes. :( It's on my list of things to (re)do... I found this one note in SCCA section you just attached: "Note: DM and EM vehicles are exempt from the scattershield, driveshaft
hoop, and Master Switch requirements if they are using DOT approved tires."
I will be running DOT r-comps. Hopefully that will give me a little leeway as well. :)
