I need to extend the harness for the MAF sensor on my Miata harness. Can I just splice in the extra wire (soldered and heat shrink) or will the extra lentgth of cable (about 24") upset the computer due to the change in resistance? Or I am just over analysing the whole thing??

I just extended my wires and it seems to work fine. Just don't use smaller wire and you should be fine. (you might be fine even if you did, I dunno)
