This is a sweet tool to "paint" a Seven virtually any color, perfect for "what-ifs". Note that you can spin the car around, paint the panels separate colors, and even add a racing strip of different types.

Now that I have that to play with, I won't get anything done. How can you save you picture?

What a HOOT!!! Thanks Kurt

Nice find. I finally get to see what the car will look like with paint without actually having to paint. :)

If working on a PC, try using Microsoft SnagIt utility.

Doesn't alt-printscreen work these days?

Either use Print Screen (which copies what you see on your desktop into your clipboard) or just write down the number sets until you select a final candidate. Full-disclosure, my brother found it and sent me the link.

This thing is SO COOL! I was playing around with it and stumbled onto a new color scheme for my car that I never would have thought of. It's something that I normally woudn't even want to try, but it looks so good I now have no choice. I HAVE to do it!

Me too. I want to see.

JD "Black-Purple-and-Green" Kemp, doesn't this just strike you? Too bad the color selector won't let you make a 3rd color other than Aluminum. There would be some black in there somewhere.

Oooh, Baby, Baby... Chuck, you've outdone yourself! That's gaudy as hell, ain't it?

I'm aiming for mostly black and purple, a dark purple. Sides will be black, as you suggested, top surfaces (nose, hood, rear deck) purple, with trim (frame, rollcage, suspension) in green.

And that too will likely be gaudy as hell..... It'll look good accepting the FTD trophy... I hope... 8)

Actually, I like this "Westfield Colour Changer" better. I've been playing with it for a while.
http://westfield-world.com/flash_changer.html

Use the "Custom Colours", and the one in the upper right corner is "Slotus Racing Green".

Somebody posted the link in the forum before... Seems like maybe it was eVox?

Hey guys! I'd be happy to show you what I found... if you can teach me how to capture the picture like you did. Not real digital savvy here. I only recently figured out where to buy "digital film" for my Canon  I too, used the Westfield Colour Changer in some of my earlier styling attempts, but to get stripes, I had to resort to "old fashioned", manual cut-and-paste. Please help drag me into the 21st century. :D

Oh, couldn't you add some black to that with a little help from Photo Shop?

Yeah, I could... If I knew how to use PhotoShop! I'm not far from the cave-dweller stage myself... Actually, I've been using computers for years, we had 'em in the geophysical units back in early 80's. But the graphics side of things is totally foreign to me. TWWTFM is good with PhotoShop and Adobe Illustrator, but I haven't quite convinced her to do any "Slotus Portraits" yet. (Workin' on it...)
