Hey Guys!

You remember a short time ago that I started a group buy for the "7" Grill Emblems. It was a stellar success! I ended up with 90+ emblems ordered and all but a couple (namely mine) sold!

You may also remember that there were the actual "7" cut outs. I shipped a purchaser a "7" with each order but had many left over, along with the additional cut out pieces. Well, I finally found a option to use them that I think most all will like, so I am wondering, before I go and buy a ton of bits and pieces and find no one but me really cares.... maybe something like this?

Now I am thinking I can do the clock face in one color and the cut outs in a contrasting color. The frame of the clock would be in the black. I don't know that I would be able to get a large quantity of the clocks even. I happen to find this at out local surplus seller. They had a couple more, but this was the one in best shape. I bet that I could get a mass buy of anything I liked from someplace such as AliBaba if the demand was high enough.

So vote early and vote often. Maybe a super stocking stuffer for Xmas?

Cheers!

Ken

1) I like the clock but probably wouldn't buy one simply because I wouldn't use it/don't need a clock.

2) However, I REALLY like the look of the "7" with the other two cut outs arranged around it. It looks sort of like a Superman crest. It's neat!

The other option is you could laser cut the entire clock face and seven emblem and then let people add their own clock mechanism which be easily had at many local stores.

OK Bill, so with the Cut Outs in mind.... what other display options might you suggest? This ones going to replace my Dr Pepper Clock on the wall at work, but I'm open to more options for usage of the others. If there is enough desire, I would be willing to do a couple of different ones.

What do the survey options actually mean in regards to your prospective plans? I definitely "like" it...But I'm sorry to say that "I'll pass" as well. Like wrist watches, I just don't have much use for wall clocks anymore.

The display option that jumps to the front of my mind is to use the grill emblem as a stencil and create....

You could rivet the metal parts onto the t-shirt to create a blinded up version for those that like that stuff.
