My car is Rustoleum Hunter Green, thinned with acetone and sprayed with a gun. Best part is, touch up paint is available everywhere.

A couple of panels were shot early on with Rustoleum in spray cans, the scuttle and front fenders. I didn't like it. Took forever to dry. A second coat sprayed within a few days of the first would wrinkle. I had to scrape paint off back down to the metal a couple of times.

When I had to make a new bonnet for the car a few years ago, I took the shortcut of wrapping it. The only problem was the color, not quite Rustoleum Hunter Green. So I have to paint it one of these days. Rolling is definitely an option, as building a spray booth inside my garage has not always worked perfectly in the past.
