Post subject:  Stainless steel fuel line spec?

I need to fabricate a short and curvy length of ss tubing to transition from my EFI fuel rail to the main fuel line heading aft. I did something similar in the past by bending up some 3/8" ss tubing with 37* flair fittings. Rummaging in my parts bins I came across a length of ss tubing that is likely what I successfully used 15+ years ago, but I need to verify its the right stuff. Fortunately it still has the spec printed on the side:

T.S.K. ASTM A269/A213 ASME SA213 AVE. WALL SMLS T304 3/8"X0.028" HEAT NO. V60946 MADE IN JAPAN

Well, maybe some of the S's were actually 5's but the above should be close. I googled pieces of the acronym string and it looks like it's seamless 304 stainless tube with the right engineering standards. And I can tell it was an old piece 'cause all the new tube is made a bit further east.

Is this the right stuff for an EFI fuel line? Thanks.

That will work fine. Burst rating is about 2,300 psi. Can be flared without splitting since it is seamless.

Thanks, Dismantalus. My hoarding tendency has paid off again. I'll dust this tube off and use it. IIRC, it polishes up real nice, too.
