A Shooting Brake (or Break) Corvette Huh.. Looks like it needs a little more room for the dogs. :P

Alternatively, you could also liken it to the Ferrari "Breadwagon".

Yeah. .. but the Ferrari has a long hood and a steeper windshield which I like the looks of more than the short hood looooong windshield of the Vette.

It's kind of a throwback to the '53(?) Bette hatchback thingy. I wouldn't refuse it as a gift but I'm not sure I'd pay for it.

I don't see the point of it. It doesn't add a meaningful amount of space and appears to kill rearward visibility. As a styling exercise it's kind of amusing, but little more. In my humble opinion, the whole point of a 'shooting brake' is that it should provide a purposeful improvement in functionality.

Wasn't the original Nomad supposed to have been Vette-based instead of Bel Air?

In my humble opinion it's an ABOMINATION!

And I've never been wrong.

The original Greenwood abomination was done in 68. The pic of the blue car seems to be a 73. Been done to later c3's and saw a rendering of a c5 :ack:

Greenwood didn't sell too many kits (thankfully)

I saw one of those for real, in person, at a body shop in Sebring FL many, many years ago. I thought somebody had grafted the roof and rear glass from a Vega station wagon onto the poor thing... Shop owner explained it was a "kit" and that the car's owner had brought it in for repairs to cracks in the fiberglass.
