Callaway themselves state that they are predicting only a "slight" reduction in drag. Based on everything I've seen, this is more of a secondary 'benefit' to the cosmetic alterations. Although, I also question if it will have similar 'slight' negative effect on the high speed aerodynamic balance/stability of the car too. Part of that minor drag reduction probably comes from the elimination of the outboard spoiler sections on the trailing edge of the rear fenders, which is exposed to the free airstream on the standard Corvette, and not just from the moderately raised roof line alone.
From what I can tell, their "200+ mph" top speed claims appear to be based on the assumption of buyers who add the beefed up Callaway Corvette powertrain (~650hp) option as well.
