I was backtracking through the archives and found an early Kurtis chassis, and though it isn't quite a LoCost, it is interesting. Years ago, when I first thought of building a car, The Kurtis Kraft roadster was what caught my eye. I believe the Locost to be a derivative of that look and feel, albeit parallel evolution.. What Colin Chapman was doing in England was being done by hotrodders on the west coast.. either way, interesting to peruse.

also, I recall someone asking about using a straight axle in a Locost, and this is a pretty good example of this set-up.
