I'd rather a Datsun 240K Shorty ... if you didn't get them in the States, it's the 240Z's brother.

I saw an Isetta in the parking lot at the local grocery today. I don't think I've ever seen one in person on the road before. I just looked it up in Wikipedia to be sure what it was. It had almost 10 horsepower!

Most of the micros have two stroke engines and a top speed around 30-45 mph on average.

One could put a modern lawnmower engine in, but the rest would also need upgrade. The tiny track, wheelbase, tires, etc could get dangerous in a hurry. Considering what these will likely go for at auction, it would be unsettling to butcher it for "improvements".

I like the Z; reminds me of Moore's track car dims.

Well, this is apparently the last weekend the museum is open. One of my colleagues flew down there yesterday to check it out.
