Steel shell. Its also a 64....and from New Zealand.

Unfortunately there is only a little more rust repair then it will have to come off of the rotisserie so I can start on the new front end. Then I'll have to find a place to store the two a-frames and the long piece of tubing. :ack:

A '64 what? I don't recognize it, although if pressed, I'd guess a mini station wagon.

I'm envious. My mum used to drive a wagon when she was younger and I had half thought about finding her another one. But, nothing like that seems to come up for sale around here.

I was hoping to hold off for a year or two before starting on something new but the good stuff always comes up when you aren't looking to buy. Its a conundrum - either wait until you're ready and nothing will be for sale or jump on it when its available.

Either way calling this one a basket-case is pretty generous. Considering it filled most of a 28' trailer, I'd say trailer-case is more appropriate. Fortunately owner #14 did an excellent job organizing everything so it'll make owner #15's job much easier.
