Hamad - That is MOST EXCELLENT! :D You guys cranked that out in six months? That's impressive!

What was your donor vehicle? Most importantly...how does it drive? I bet it is a screamer!

I hope you'll post more about the car here. Congratulations to you, Muhammad, and Khalid.

Love the tail lights.

Just goes to show you that you don't need a garage, but good weather helps.

Sped the build up to use stock suspension pieces didn't it?

thank you very much for your reply Dave :)

the donor vehicle was a 98 nissan cedric ,, well its fast in a straight line but we didnt test it's cornering abilities yet ( in the desert ,, all u kin find is straight lines lol ) but i imagine it wont be that good ( the engine at the front is quite heavy )

we did that in a hurry so we mounted them with the brakes ( im not shore what the english term for the specific place ) but it didn't do us any good ,, it kept wobbeling and shaking as we drive along

* wait , u ment the front wheel arches, right ?

thanks for the reply ,, In Summur , the tempreture reaches 55' c , sometimes more .

the front suspension actually is taken from a GMC Yukon ,, it couldn't withstand the engine the normal way coz it wasn't designed to ,, so we had to fix those plates to make it withstand ( that was a mistake coz it became too harsh and hard )

WOW! 6 months! That's tremendous! You must be close to the record for a scratch built Locost. Looks good too.

One problem I notice... Two seats, three builders... ;-)

Enjoy it!

John

Yes, the wheel arches above the tires.

I ask because they look a little on the heavy side. I don't see any photos that show the support very well. Do you have any photos of them to post? Be careful in this area...if they are wobbling and shaking badly, they will likely break off, and could be dangerous.

How does licensing work in Saudi Arabia? Do you have to do anything special to register it and get a license plate? Are there many car builders there?

You know, once everyone stops bickering about religion, politics, and culture, we're all much more alike than different. Guys like sports cars! Very well done!
