Took the 7 to a local car show n shine. It was placed in the "Orphan" catagory becuase it is a Ubuilt car and has no brand name manufacturer. I did get to park beside an original 7 though and the fellows in the British class were more than welcoming.

There were around 200 cars and trucks at the event, this was wifey and I first ever show n shine and be darned if the 7 didn't get a trophy.

A lot of people were amazed that a person can build a car from scratch and love to hear your build story. I made up a little photo album with around 60 pics of the build process, this helps for show and tell.

Also met Mach68 - good to see you there! Hope the car inspired you.

What an awesome show! Sooooo much to take in. It was really great meeting you and seeing your car. I wish I had the time to dissect it and a bunch of others that were there lol

Did you check out that Jag recreation too?

Well the 2013 driving season is coming to an end here in Alberta. Put 1500 miles on the Super 7 this year. What a blast! This car makes total strangers smile, laugh, giggle, walk up and talk to you, wish they were you, give you a thumbs up, take pics of the car, and most of all are amazed that YOU built this car!

Hey Perry,
looking good as always.
But wait, what do I see ahead? Is that really a couple of kinks in the road? Did you sneak across the border to BC to find some lateral G's? Hold on Martha, we're not in Alberta anymore!

Great to hear Perry! I'll bet more than one person who has seen your car is at least wishing/hoping or maybe even planning a build. Nothing sells the idea of building a car better then seeing a Locost on the road...

Nice build and congrats on the trophy. I also hope to win trophies with my car but mine will be for racing because I doubt mine will be pretty (It will be to me though).
