Hi Y'all!
I got an email through "locost84@locostusa.com" from a user named Geek49203. He said he'd been lurking, but finally registered, only to then find himself blocked from the forums. Anybody know what to suggest to him?
Thanks!
JD Kemp

He's a "COPPA" user, (under 13 years of age) so it may be due to restrictions currently in place to meet http://www.coppa.org/coppa.htm. ..

Really? Reading his email, I would never have guessed he's that young. Hmmmm... Could be the problem then... I leave it to Team Mod, this ain't my department...
Thanks, Jack!

So the solution is "don't be under 13". If you can't figure that out, keep lurking till you're over 13 ;)

Hell, I haven't been under 13 since the end of the Johnson administration! But it might help some other folks to know that...

Geek's answer to my email query-
Quote:
I have skin allergies that are old enough to beat the COPPA laws. I can assure you that I’m also legal to drink in every state in the union, including Utah.

We should let him in, just for havin' the proper sense of humor! He also tells me that Dr. Hempy is on the case, so I'm guessin' it'll get fixed soon.
