Yo, Team Mod!
Last night I couldn't upload a picture on my build log. It returned an error message about "File you are trying to upload is invalid" I tried more than one picture. Horchoha reported the same thing in his build log. Have a look-see, would you please?

I just had the same problem. I was able to post to my build log but could not upload any pictures and got the same message.

I don't think we know why this happens. Perhaps the elves were slow today. Honestly I'm not sure if we use elves or dwarfs...

It has happened to me as well. If I keep trying they usually go. Sometimes the answer is wait a day.

I just tried again and no go. I reformated into TIFF and still wouldn't work. I tried a picture I didn't want uploaded and of course it worked?

Edit I took the TIFF file converted it back to JPEG and it worked? I'm using the same camera as the rest of the pictures and they worked :? :?

I know we don't accept TIFF format pictures. I convert all my screenshots, which are TIFF, to jpeg and then upload. It's possible that that one picture wasn't standards compliant in some respect. Or that our software is not compliant. There are multiple versions or revisions of the jpeg standard. When I convert my TIFF files, I can choose JPEG or JPEG 2000 standard. I always use just JPEG, which I believe is a newer standard.

It's just something to keep in mind, I'm glad you've found a workaround.

Hmm cut the pic size in half it loaded. Might wanna check your php.ini and see if the "upload_max_filesize" had been changed to a smaller size. Just saying.

I got a new one (I'd post a screen shot but obviously that isn't an option...):

"The image file you tried to attach is invalid"

This after I tried resizing to something a little smaller. :?

Thats the error I've been getting. Make it real small and it will load. Like 200 x 100

All the pics on my build were 550kb to 600kb now the max size you can upload is about 110kb. Well scratch that now it won't up them either.
