Looks like either 1) you have a server based in Canada's Atlantic Standard Time (Halifax, etc) or the thing is not set for daylight savings time.

Cause right now I'm looking at my US clock (NYCity time) of 8:00 and the clock on this web page is 9:00.

Thought you'd wanna know.

If you go to your User Control Panel and choose Board Preferences, what time zone is selected?

It doesn't automatically change with daylight savings time since it uses UTC as a reference - that always messes me up when we change.

Try to make the radio button say "no" and see if that fixes it.

(shaking head) yup, that did it...

I guess I read that option as, "check this off to make the DST thing work". Which is how it is in Windows and Linux.

Oh well, thank you, I will just have to remember to change it next March.

G'03.

I did the same thing geek, it really doesn't make sense to make the user manually select it when DST comes around.

Time is now irrelevant because I've been obliterated since the 21st.

You do know that DST is the cause of global warming, don't you? We say we're "saving" daylight, but it leaks out through our poorly insulated houses (a national disgrace), and it's slowly warming the whole planet. We're killing off the polar bears just so we can enjoy an extra hour of sunlight, well let's see how much we enjoy it when the rivers dry up.

End of rant.

Yes, I note that once DST hits, the climate seems to get warmer. I also note that the water levels in local lakes and rivers tend to rise as well.

since the advent of digital watches, here in arizona we do not have dst. because those watches are too darn difficult to alter.

anyway, i'm event motivated not time motivated, it will be done when it's done and not before!

Well one advantage is that it will weed out the weak ones.
