I've noticed that on some posts I look at there are supposed to be images, but I don't see them. What's more worrying is that there are posts where I *have* been able to see the images, but now I can't. One such post is on this thread, specifically the post from Beelzeboss posted Mon Oct 12, 2009 8:09 am. I could see this from home, but can't right now from work. In both cases I'm using Firefox (one on Mac, one on Windows, but that shouldn't matter, should it?).

Perhaps your IT people at work implemented a change. I've not experienced what you're describing, other than really old threads where the pictures links are no longer valid.

Sometimes people provide pointers to a place the image is stored like on photobucket, I suppose. In this case the image may not appear right away or at all if there are firewalls involved. These can come and go, if the link becomes invalid.

IF the picture is uploaded to our site it will have a caption.

Just FYI, I figured it out... the firewall at work filters out some images, for some reason. Aggravating. Darned Websense...
