We do have another build from your country, and I think it is also Toyota, so you are in luck. Here it is:

http://locostusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=10062&p=101580&hilit=Philippines#p101580

That's the right size for your tubing 25mm x 1.5mm

Good luck.

whoa! thanks man! now i can ask some one from here some advices...

and also thanks for the encouragement with the tubing...

i saw a topic and also saw you talking about the philippines... its great country for cars in the provinces but not near cities (traffic)...

in the provinces theres alot of twisty roads in mountains or near beaches... you gotta visit Boracay island here...

anyways i will post a video of test drive when its complete.. and maybe a drive around the mountains downhill...

In this country most people use .063in which is 1/16in. That is very close to 1.5mm, so you are ok. It is not too thin. Just right. Many people here will help you. Just ask. Don't worry about your English. It's probably as good as some of mine. Good luck.

Don't wait until the car is finished to post photos. I enjoy looking at other people's build photos and especially ones from other countries. I noticed that you are building your car outside. Where I live, that would be difficult, since it gets very cold this time of year. Don't be afraid to post any mistakes you make, since we all make them. There are many talented builders here who will help you.

the engine sits a little bit high for me and i wanted it to sit lower in the car so this is my plan is to cut the tube directly beneath the transmission.

Will, is that your own frame design? It looks a lot different than a book locost, a lot wider at the front. I'm curious because it looks stronger and simpler to build. I can't totally visualize what it will look like with bodywork but I think I like it. What spindles are you using?

thanks! its a little bit different locost chassis its a little bit wider and the nose does not follow the curve design the original locost do.

as for the bodywork i too dont know what it will look like..
but i like this design if it looks good on the chassis.

im not sure yet on the design.. hmm any suggestions?

and the spindles came from this kind of van
