Seen in Winnipeg today. Is it possible that Chris got a new truck to pull his new trailer? BTW, where is the orange on the trailer going to be?

HAHA, That's awesome Bill! I want.
Keen eye on the lack of orange on the trailer. As I had to paint it in the garage amidst 3 other cars, the paint you see is 98% rolled on (what a pain  ). I only have the orange in spray bombs, so it had to wait.

Great looking trailer!! Where did you get the plans from, or were there plans for it?

That's a perfect little trailer for a Locost. I could pull that with the suby.

Thanks guys. It a Brunton (Stalker) trailer. I did get of a set of plans, I had permission to use. They do not however, belong to me, so out of respect to Stalker Cars, I will not Post them. If your interested I'd, ask that you contact the Meinharts.

It cost me near $2000 CDN. to build. I'm sure you could build it for considerably less in the US.
I believe they start at $3500 from Stalker cars though don't quote me, as I don't work for them.

I priced a Stalker trailer about 4 years ago and it was $3,600 then. That was after seeing one at the Wabasha gathering. I was pretty impressed with it.

In other news participated in our Winnipeg Sports Car Club HPDE as I'd like to spend some time out at our road course ass well this summer. Lots of fun. Car is very neutral and catch-able on a road course. Brakes are awesome now. See all them fancy cars in front of me there I'm tucked in between the 911 and the DB9. The group included Z06, M6, 911, hopped up STI, DB9, 911 Turbo S. Etc. Passed them all. Very entertaining harassing all those high end cars.

Had the car dyno'd the following weekend.
Pleasantly surprised by the results. 233WHP, and 194 torques!
Not bad for a home brew turbo set up!

Please note the early vote of confidence from your daughter. Dad's number 1 all the way!

Congrats and thanks for doing your part to market / publicize the locostUSA way. I'm sure everyone of the drivers you passed had a few thoughts about this and don't be surprised to start seeing a few more locost style cars showing up in a couple of years because of you. :)

Hi Chris. That is an impressive dyno. Did you do any tuning on it since last year when I rode with you in Galena?. Your running stock rods and Pistons aren't you?
