I am not sure if this is the correct use for this forum.
I am not far into my build having just started, but I do have photos of the progress so far on my Webshots picture site.
Hopefully whenever I am done building I will convert the photos into a website one day.

Sure it's the correct use! Thanks for sharing your build.

Not far? You don't give yourself enough credit. It looks like you have a majority of the chassis complete and it's looking good. I'm curious, how long did it take for you to get where you are now?

I am not sure when I really got going, I bought the tubing end of June and built the table first, I guess it was sometime in the first part of July I was on to the frame.
I must be having fun as it seems like I just got started.
Also thanks to Chetcpo for letting me have a "sticky"

Just thought I would drop a few pictures and update my build a bit.
Let every know I am still plodding along.
I got the Explorer axle in place and it seems like it will work fine, I wasn't sure if I was going to stick with it considering the pinion offset, this was discussed on another thread. As it is it will be fine with a 16 inch passenger seat and a 17 inch drivers seat there will be enough room.
It seems to be working out ok, also a photo of the front suspension as well utilizing the mustang spindles.
Everything at this point is just tacked and needs to be finish welded and painted etc, once I have the engine and transmission trial fitted in place, then I will remove it all and finish the welds and maybe paint the frame and parts.

Make sure you have enough clearance above the panhard rod for full bump travel. I have almost 2" kickup on the lower chassis tube for clearance.

I have "just" enough clearence, I have given a little thought to maybe welding in an extra 1/8th inch of arc into the bottom of the square tube for a little more insurance.

Looking very good. I like the lowback seats. Like an old Willys Jeep, the Seven just doesn't look right with highback seats. I've got two highback aluminum seats that I'm cutting down.

Thanks all for the supportive comments.
I chose the low seats just because I thought to give the build a bit of a period look so I picked "Vintage" whatever that is and that was the reason for the seats, same with the Mustang wheels, to me they have a bit of a poor mans Halibrand look to them, especially with the spinners in place and at $49 ea new off ebay they were a deal.
Then find some period looking gauges and steering wheel and that will probably do it for my period theme.

I ordered some spinner caps off ebay and some center logos off ebay as well.
So my wheels are complete, just thought I would share a photo or two.
