Hi cheapsk8, welcome aboard.

Wow. You'd think on one's very first post, one would tread with greater care. If you weren't trying to be critical, then why so critical? We do have a few folks on this site who come off as obnoxious know-it-alls* and treat their fellow Locosters like they're morons, but I don't think that's who you should emulate and it's only tolerated from them because they provide enough useful information to make them worth reading.
So I'm offering some sage counsel, and it's not because I'm a grump, it's because I want you to be an honored and productive member of LocostUSA. If you'll follow this advice for your first dozen posts or so, I think you'll get a feel for this community and you'll blend right in.
First of all, shoot for constructive criticism rather than just plain criticism. For example, you should tell RobotWrangler what wheels you recommend, don't just criticize his wheels as "heavy". How much lighter are the wheels you'd prefer he use? Are they locost-friendly (that is, good bang for the buck)?
Second, since you're presenting yourself as more knowledgeable than Mr. Wrangler, you should probably give your qualifications. Tell us where you learned these things that RobotWrangler doesn't know. Post some photos of cars you've built on the
Introduce Yourself page. Don't hide your light under a bushel basket, tell us about engineering degrees (and land speed records, and series titles, and anything else appropriate) you hold, and other experience that qualifies your expertise.
And finally...

I'm just saying if you want a good power to weight ratio you cut weight anywhere you can. Just something to consider.
...this is pretty insulting. To imply that Wrangler has gotten this far in his build without considering how to get a good power to weight ratio is to imply that he's a fool.** If you have concrete suggestions for how he can build his car better***, then spit 'em out.

I don't understand using the bike engine,I know you said power to weight
Yep, power to weight. They sound cool, too. Go to the BEC forum pages, click on some builders' YouTube videos, and I think you'll understand using the bike engine. Bike engined cars may not be your cup of tea, but at least you'll understand them.
PPS: If you can't take it as well as you dish it out, you won't have much fun here.
*Which may include Yours Truly.
**Maybe, MAYBE it would be okay on a Dodge Challenger site, but on LocostUSA, people understand the value of light weight as it relates to weight/power. If they didn't, they wouldn't be building a Locost.
***In Locost terms, and if all else (such as strength and reliability) remains equal, lighter + cheaper = better.
