Start with a Fiat 850, end up with a steel tube frame, some Fiat seats and a VW diesel in the back. Maybe keep the windshield and headlights too. Then it's just a repaired Fiat?

I did not understand anything! (because of my English learned of mickey mouse!!) Fiat 850 is a car '70 years but in italy we do not see more. Here, mercedes and bmw excluded, only front-wheel drive cars, unfortunately, unnecessary for the construction of a seven.

Considering the fuel prices in Europe I would think the diesel is a good choice for an engine.
The frame is one of the cheapest parts of the car to build why not start with that and then if you are still excited about building the car, carry on, if not you have not lost a lot of money.
By the way your Mickey Mouse English is a lot better than my Italian.
If it is your idea of fun, then go for it. :)

I will use a gasoline engine, I have available alfa romeo 2.0 TS but i think i will try a 1.6 engine fiat. Soon start with the frame (I have to disassemble the 760 first).

And this short thread answers the question I had.
Basically no Locost Italy due to their overbearingly restrictive vehicle laws.

Pity, I've found the Alfa Romeo Spider to be a great donor.
Suspect that FIAT 124's would also work well.
Even have a design that would go well with the original Fiat 600/850 layout.

So the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, OSCA, Abarth, etc. would never be allowed to even try today, how sad. :(
