They're really loud!
As to whether they're directional or not, I can't really say. I haven't tested them with the nosecone and everything else on. I'm betting they'll be fine.

I have my horns in the exact same place. They're loud in every direction, with all panels installed.

Been a long time with no update.

I'm stuck in wiring hell. For some reason, I can't get my gauge cluster to work. Only two things do work - the turn signal indicators and the low voltage light.
Things that don't work:
High beam indicator (even though high-beams work)
e-brake indicator
Tach (I've traced the wire from the thingy (forgot its name) that produces the signal to the cluster)
Everything else on the cluster.

I've checked ground and power, and have even run external power/ground to the cluster. Also, I've tried 2 other clusters, with no change. Very frustrating. I need to finalize that, then I can bundle up the wiring, and the car will almost be ready for registration/inspection.

On a brighter note, I finally made one of my front fender mounts last night. Don't know why, but I've been dreading it for a while. It came out nice, and was surprisingly easy. I'll post up pics soon.

Yay, my gauges are working (except oil pressure and speedo)

Finished up the other fender mount.

Well, the car is just about finished. Other than completing the registration, the only big item remaining is to continue modifying my nose cone to fit.

Struggled for what to do with a dash panel for a while. Ended up with .090 aluminum covered with a carbon fiber vinyl decal. Much easier than real CF, which is what I was originally going to do.
