My final entry into the R1 project's story. Today I took Blood Sweat and Beers for my last drive. I got a call from the transporter that he couldn't get into my neighborhood and asked if I could meet him at Lowe's. So I headed to the garage and fired up the car.
The drive was a hoot. It's only a couple of miles up to Lowe's but it was my last drive in her and I enjoyed it to the max.
Warmed the car up for a few minutes, back out of the driveway nice and easy, then LIT EM UP!!!! One last time.
After that a nice easy drive through the neighborhood. Sun out, no top, high revving motor, and a lot of stares from the few neighbors that were out.
I rolled into the Lowe's parking lot and snapped a couple of pics before she loaded onto the car hauler.
