Thanks! Getting a little more exciting now

- Cleaned up the dashboard a little yesterday. It is still warped somewhat, but I might be able to just bend it straight.
- I started on the lower radiator brackets yesterday - hope to get something tacked on today to support the radiator. The radiator needs to be offset to the passenger side to keep the lower radiator hose from hitting on the frame. Therefore, the passenger side of the radiator is very close to the nosecose. But I think it will work ok.

An idea for the upper radiator mount. There are two mounts on the bottom of the radiator, so a single top mount in the center seems strong enough. I'll reinforce the bracket a little, too.

The Honda rad that is utilized quite a bit has mounting pegs on the top in the middle and 2 on the bottom. Works good for Honda and has been working good for me. The rubber mounts are readily available from your friendly Honda dealer if you can adapt them.

That's a nice solution there - looks a lot stronger than what I have so far. I'll reinforce my top mount and take pics of the lower mounts. I had to get a little creative with the mounts in order to clear the nose cone.

Will post a better update soon, but recently I've been working on lots of stuff, though slacking on posts here:
- dashboard finished except for covering later
- gauges mounted and ready to be wired to senders, warning lights ready
- fuel tank mounted
- intake/pcv done
- coolant hoses almost done
- hvac box mounted in scuttle
- hvac controls mounted below dash
- firewall mostly done - mounted: ignition box, battery, washer fluid res/pump, fuse box, hose through-wall barbs
- mounted oil catch jar and coolant overflow jar
- panel for ignition switch and toggles in progress, mount soon
- some progress on headers - though the design complicates it somewhat
- headlights and turn signals mounted

Coming up:
- temporary mounting for fuel pump and filter (for first-start)
- purge coolant lines (engine might be full of crud)
- wire up fuse box
- mount ECU + wiring!
- headers or just use stock exhaust manifolds for first-start

Congrats Rob!
Nothing makes me smile more that hearing a V8 running with uncapped ex manifolds.
Reminds me of a 67 Firebird I built in 1978. A buddy and I ran the car up and down the block with uncapped headers, we were screaming at each other to communicate. Some girls I knew that lived on a second story apartment on that block said their dishes were rattling in the cupboards.
