using polyester for the glass so I used 2 part urethane foam

It looks good enough to appear to be from a mold of the miata instrument hood. Nice job!

Almost done – still need it’s new wheels and tires (TD2 with R888) and upholstery (tonneau cover and shifter and parking brake boots).

yes it is registered as a '92 miata :) it drives well this is the third set of springs started with 450/250 now I am using 250/140 and it rides much better also only running 15 psi in the tires. waiting on the new tires and rims before pushing real hard. Also need to get it realigned and corner weighted. Wife and a friend who restores cars think I should paint the hood black also -- what does the forum think?

Re: painting the hood, I think it would make the car look lower and longer, but I think the aluminum looks good, too, and is unusual. An advantage of painting would be that you can use pre-cut louvers to vent the engine compartment if you want. BTW, your painter did a very nice job.
